From the Architecture tab of the top ribbon select the “Ceiling” tool.
Ensure the correct Ceiling Family is selected from the drop-down box at the top of the Properties Side Panel.
Model the Ceilings.
Adjust the Ceilings pitch by selecting one of the Ceiling footprint lines and tick the “Define Slope” box in the top ribbon to add a pitch angle. Ticking this box and entering an angle into the field next to the line adjusts pitch angle.
Note: Make sure to model the Ceilings to the outside of the Exterior Walls, to ensure accuracy when it comes to Thermal Calculations.
Adjust Ceiling elevation. This can be done in the Properties side panel or by moving them in an Elevation view.
Note: Remember to differentiate and separate Ceilings over Conditioned and Unconditioned Typologies.
